Welcome!
It's a pleasure to have you here :)
If you’ve landed on this page, there’s a good chance you’re considering therapy. This is a big step, and it may feel a bit overwhelming. Finding the right therapist can be a complex process, so I’d like to be upfront about what you can expect here before you go any further.
My name is Kathy, and I am a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the Philadelphia area. I currently see clients in person in the Rittenhouse neighborhood, and I also offer virtual sessions through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. As a clinician, I am warm and curious; together, we will explore what the next steps look like as our work unfolds. I often find that sessions bring us to a place where we can choose to sit with difficult feelings or gently challenge patterns to support change. As your therapist, we’ll navigate those moments together, prioritizing safety every step of the way.
In my practice, I work with individuals, polycules, couples, adult families, and platonic partners. My social location meaningfully informs my lens, and conversations about power dynamics and social scripts are often part of our work. I warmly welcome clients navigating power exchange (D/s, M/s, TPE, etc.), polyamorous relationships, and queer identities; I want you to feel fully supported in showing up as your authentic self. It can be hard when the world asks us to be things that don’t fit.
Thank you for being here. If you think we might be a good fit, feel free to explore more or reach out to schedule a consultation.
