Hi there!
I'm Kathy. I am a pre-licensed individual and relationship therapist who uses intuition to guide the therapy process. In my work with clients, I believe that each person has their own intuition, and that this inner wisdom holds the key to what is most important in their healing journey. Sessions with me are built on the foundation of consent, as I understand the importance of navigating the power dynamics in the therapy space. This approach ensures that clients feel empowered and in control of their experience which hopefully translates to the world outside of the therapy room.

I am a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University’s Couple and Family Therapy program where I focused on Sex Therapy. In the therapy room, I tend to utilize a Narrative and and Emotions-focused approach to learn more while layering on Somatic awareness to understand how this pertains to the things that you may be feeling. We'll work together to gain insight, collect data, and then plan on how to proceed with what has been learned. ...Oh, and a good dose of humor in the room is always seen as a therapeutic moment!
About Me
Kathy (it/she) understands that a therapist's identity shapes how they show up in the work with clients. She identifies as a cis, able-bodied, white woman. Kathy identifies as queer, polyamorous, kinky and somewhere on the asexual spectrum. When she isn't "therapizing", she can often be found moving her body in some way, hanging out with friends or reading a book. If you see Kathy in session virtually, there is a good chance her tripod cat, Jojo, may pop onto screen!
